Kilgore College will host a football combine tryout on May 9 at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium, providing prospective student-athletes an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the Rangers coaching staff.

Check-in for the event begins at 10 a.m., with drills scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Participants will take part in a series of evaluations, including the 40-yard dash, pro shuttle, position-specific drills and 7-on-7 competition.

The cost is $40 for walk-up registration on the day of the event. Athletes who pre-register can participate for $30.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable athletic clothing and football cleats. Walk-up registration will be available, with payment accepted upon arrival.

The combine is designed to identify talent and provide athletes with an opportunity to compete at the collegiate level while gaining exposure to Kilgore College's football program.
